Uploading does seem slow but the thing is that when one uploads 190 pictures, which in my case is nearly half a gig in size, it just takes time. With the Send To SmugMug uploader my bandwidth meter jumped between 117KB and 125KB. With the Simple (MS Windows) uploader it was around 130KB. So not much...
