Amazon.com Prime a year later

Last year I signed up for Amazon.com Prime. It’s a service where anytime you order a product that Amazon.com sells you get free 2 day shipping or next day for $3.99 per item. It costs $79 a year and I thought I would try it out for a year.

Well it’s been one year. Lets see how I did.

I ordered 21 individual orders last year. So that works out to $3.76 per order in shipping costs. I think that’s a pretty good deal for 2nd day shipping on all my orders. I signed up for a second year.

I signed up for Amazon prime under a free 3-month trial to see how i would use it before going for the full meal deal. So far I've ordered 5 items in 2 months. Problem is that here in WA, Amazon charges sales tax so I can often find good deals elsewhere. However, now that I know I can get 2nd shipping free, I'm finding myself buying more from them. (Plus, their fantastic return policy doesn't hurt either)

I've been thrilled with the Amazon Prime.

Well worth the cost.
