CoComment

Scoble points to a new comment service called CoComment that helps you keep track of the places you leave comments. One of my big problems with leaving comments on blogs it that I don’t have a system to go back and follow up on the conversation (I usually never do). CoComment should fix that.

However, I just tried the service out and it did not work on the first two blogs that I tried out. One of those is dasBlog. Oh well.

Blogs need to evolve into some kind of discussion forum type of comments and threads.

I leave a comment at some blog (like here) and I never know later if someone posted a reply to mine or to the OP or to another post. I would like to get an email when someone replied to me.

I think Community Server supports this feature. The sequence of comments where it's hard to make sense of threads needs to go. Most blog sofware suffer from this.

Blogs needs be more of a two way communication than fire and forget.

I'm working with the coComment guys to get them to look at DasBlog's rss comments feed.
