Comcast Blast coming to Bay Area

Comcast is upgrading all customers on their Performance Plus plan (8 MBits down / 768 KBps up) to Comcast Blast (16 MBits down / 2 MBits up) by the end of Feb.

I just upgraded from slow poke cable modem (6 MBits down / 368 KBps up) a few weeks ago so this upgrade is very welcome!

I'll post a new pic when I'm upgraded.

I have comcast in the bay area, i see 23000kb/s from speedtest.net. But the real question would be what is the bandwidth after the 20MB of your down load when speed boost goes away?

I'm not sure the upgrade is automatic. I had to call to get upgraded, and even then, an accounting glitch prevented my cable modem from getting provisioned until a guy came out. But wow, the upgrade is totally worth it.

Omar,
How much do you pay for your Comcast service (per month)?
