I am surprised that people want the file menu back. I love the interface the way it is. 90% of the time people open a browser and type in a URL. It should be the topmost thing. And once the page is loaded, I may want to do thing to the "Page". Or I may need the "Tools" to do stuff to/with my browser. Yes there may be 10% of the times when I may need the File menu (ALT key) will bring it up. Yes the UX is different from IE 6. But the new UI is more intuitive IMHO.
